A washed-up R&B singer writes a screenplay in secret just to stay sane. When a coworker leaks it online to humiliate him, an Oscar winning producer finds the script and wants him to star in it which means facing everything he's been running from for four years.

SYNOPSIS:

Eliam Stone had everything. At 28, he was R&B's rising star: platinum records, sold-out tours, devoted fans. But behind the success, he was falling apart a growing addiction to anxiety meds, a painful divorce, and a custody battle over his young son.

Everything collapsed in one night. During a live televised concert, Eliam collapsed on stage from an accidental overdose. The video went viral within hours. Sponsors pulled out, his label dropped him, and a judge suspended his parental rights until he could prove long-term stability.

Eliam disappeared from public life for four years.

He now works at a music store, lives in a small apartment, attends regular support meetings, and fights unsuccessfully for visitation rights with his son. Only one thing keeps him grounded: a screenplay he writes in secret at night, a fictionalized account of his fall and his fight to become a father his son could respect.

The screenplay is his personal therapy. He never intended anyone to read it.

One evening, a bitter coworker finds the manuscript and posts pages online to humiliate him. Within hours, the internet erupts with memes and mockery. Eliam's public shame hits him full force.

But amid the ridicule, an unexpected voice speaks up: Maya Whitford, Oscar-winning producer. Where others see a joke, she sees a powerful story worth telling.

She contacts Eliam with a proposal: she wants to produce the film. And she wants him to star in it.

For this to happen, Eliam must face everything he's avoided for four years: therapy, vocal coaching, legal battles to reconnect with his son, and the wreckage of his past. From the start of production, old wounds reopen. Tabloids dig up old scandals, former associates try to sabotage the project, and Eliam wrestles with the fear of failing again under public scrutiny.

The film's climactic scene requires Eliam to perform an original song live no playback, no safety net in front of the entire crew. What he doesn't know is that Maya quietly invited his son to watch.

His voice isn't perfect anymore. It's weathered, flawed, but undeniably real. His performance leaves the room in stunned silence. His son is visibly moved. When the cameras stop rolling, the boy runs into his father's arms.
