Raised in a strict and privileged family from London, by her attorney parents, Emma arrives in New York at the end of summer break. There, she stumbles into a forbidden world — harsh, chaotic, yet irresistibly magnetic — through the eyes of Zayne, a young man shaped by the city’s dangerous streets.
Their encounter forces Emma to cross her own boundaries and choose between the safety of the world she knows and the raw seduction of freedom.
SYNOPSIS:
Synopsis
Raised in London by two high-society lawyers, Emma has spent her life following rules she never wrote. Polite, disciplined, and destined for law school, she seems to have it all — including a boyfriend her parents adore, a future lawyer himself, as dull and predictable as her path ahead. But beneath Emma’s calm surface lies a quiet hunger for something real, something raw.
When she travels to New York at the end of summer with her best friend Hannah, she finally feels far from her parents’ control and their perfectly arranged world. The city’s pulse is electric — and so is her first encounter with Zayne, a reckless young man raised on the streets, shaped by violence, danger, and survival. He’s everything she’s been warned against — and everything she’s secretly longed for.
After Emma witnesses Zayne and his crew in a violent fight, the police question her, but she refuses to identify him. Her silence doesn’t go unnoticed. Zayne, intrigued by the girl from another world who protected him, starts to appear in her orbit — first by chance, then by choice.
When Hannah injures her leg and Emma is left alone, a late-night errand for ice brings her face to face with Zayne again. This time, she doesn’t walk away. Drawn into his chaotic world, Emma discovers a version of herself she never knew — bold, alive, fearless. Their connection becomes addictive, their love a rebellion against everything that once defined her.
But Zayne’s world is built on danger — crime, drugs, and violence — and love can’t save them from what’s coming. As the walls close in, their story spirals into a tragic ending neither could escape.
In the city that never sleeps, Emma finds the freedom she always craved — at the cost of everything she was.

I would suggest your Log Line should be much shorter - EXAMPLE - "In New York for summer, Emma meets street-hardened Zayne who offers danger and fulfilled desire, but how far will she go with freedoms strictly denied by her affluent upbringing"? - THIRTY WORDS. You will also need a full synopsis with all the ins and outs of your story as well as using standard screenplay formatting.
Thank you very much sir for your advice!
