A Gift of Wonderment is a historical fantasy set in 1869 New York
City surrounding Kristopher Noel, an overgenerous toymaker, who
commits to donating playthings to the orphans in The New York
Foundling Asylum. Complications snowball when the greedy Archbishop
forbids the new progressive Head Nun from accepting the donation.
