SYNOPSIS:
Bartholomew Warrington is a former Big & Tall underwear model who has since lost weight and D list actor at best. Today he is a self-proclaimed agent the stars…would be stars of Hollywood…Raleighwood. Bartholomew or Tyson Campbell as he prefers to be called nowadays, has set up shop in Raleigh, NC just a stone’s throw away from studios and major film and television production being done down in Wilmington, NC. His clientele are C and D list actors at best, and the deals he somehow manages to broker for them are less than stellar as well, but they somehow manage to pay pretty decent. His clients consist of a Caucasian male actor who he’s asked to change his name to something more Afrocentric, because according to Tyson, it’s a sure fire way to get auditions and looked at if people thought he was black. Another is an African-American standup comedian whose venues are small juke joints on the chitlin circuit of which he has managed to have developed a small but devoted following. Other clients range from two music producers, a female actor, and recording artist. All of whom he has promised caviar and champagne dreams to. There is just one slight problem, the caviar and champagne dreams are turning out to be fish nugget and Kool-Aid nightmares to his clients. All of their jobs stem from bad bar backroom deals with unknown directors and producers, some of which he represents as well. Although some of the jobs may end up paying Tyson’s clients handsomely at times, they end up not being the quick rise to stardom as he’s promised. From porn to low budget projects never to be released for one reason or another, Tyson’s calamity efforts into trying to become the most sought out representative to the stars is proving a lot harder than he thought. From one disgruntled client to the next, Tyson’s goofball antics and deals are proving to be his own nightmare while trying to break into the Hollywood in crowds.
