ROCK ME (LIKE A HURRICANE)
By Stanley Pomianowski

GENRE: Romance, Comedy
LOGLINE:

A couple on fertility treatments with one final shot at getting pregnant have to fight for privacy to conceive their first child when a hurricane traps them in their house with ALL of their extended family.

SYNOPSIS:

Marcos and Stephanie Perez, a young couple in Orlando, are on the brink of parenthood thanks to a fertility treatment carefully timed with Stephanie’s ovulation. They're ready for a romantic, baby-making weekend just as Hurricane Hector threatens Florida. Though the storm is expected to hook north, it suddenly shifts course—bringing not just bad weather but an unexpected storm of family.

As the hurricane barrels toward Orlando, both Stephanie and Marcos' eccentric, overbearing families show up to ride out the storm—uninvited. From nosy neighbors and meddling parents to runaway sisters and a mother with a 25-year-old husband, their home quickly descends into chaos.

Desperate for privacy and intimacy amidst the bedlam, Marcos and Stephanie dodge interruptions, family drama, and a dog named after Stephanie—all while trying to salvage their one shot at conception.

Rock Me (Like a Hurricane) is a chaotic, heartfelt ensemble comedy about the unpredictability of family, the absurdity of parenthood, and the fierce love that somehow survives it all. Think Meet the Parents meets Dan in Real Life during hurricane season.
