THE LAST NINJA

THE LAST NINJA
By Jay A Swendris

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense
LOGLINE:

A third-generation Iga ninja, raised by the last surviving master of his clan after a tragic loss, must navigate a modern world of crime and terrorism, relying on centuries-old training, honor, and discipline to stop a deadly threat — all while proving that the true art of the ninja is more than spectacle, it’s a path of justice.

SYNOPSIS:

Ken Sakura is a third-generation Japanese-American and the adopted son of Show Sakura, one of the last masters of the Iga-ryū, a legendary ninja clan. As a baby, Ken was left in Show’s care by a mysterious woman who vanished, leaving him to be raised with the discipline, philosophy, and deadly skills of a true ninja. Unlike flashy martial artists of cheap films, Ken’s training emphasized precision, stealth, and honor — the kind of skill designed to end conflict before it begins.

Years pass. Ken grows into a quiet, disciplined art dealer in Los Angeles, his past hidden behind the veil of everyday life. His adoptive father gone and his sister his only family, Ken’s peaceful existence shatters when an FBI agent arrives at his door with evidence of a masked figure moving like a ghost — stopping crimes and vanishing without a trace.

High-rise buildings fall under the control of ruthless terrorists with automatic weapons, explosives, and no regard for human life. The authorities are powerless; only someone with Ken’s unparalleled training can intervene. But the path is not simple: Ken must weigh honor against modern chaos, tradition against technology, and duty against the life he’s built.

In a world where ninja are thought extinct, Ken becomes a living ghost of the old art, a master out of time, facing an enemy armed with everything the modern world has to offer. His mission is clear: protect the innocent, preserve honor, and prove that true mastery is never about showmanship — it’s about decisive action and the discipline to do what others cannot.
