Limited Series (6 Episodes) | Sci-Fi Drama

Two hundred thousand years before the events of The Phoenix, on the advanced world of Poseidia, a peaceful post-scarcity civilization fractures when the discovery of a living Phoenix species reveals the true nature of a universal energy known as the Field—forcing two allied families, and an entire world, to choose between inward mastery and outward domination as ancient empires quietly move to exploit the divide.

SYNOPSIS:

Poseidia: Before the Fire is a grounded, mythology-driven sci-fi prequel set 2,000 years before the events of The Phoenix, exploring the origins of the Field, the Phoenix symbol, and the philosophical schism that will echo across civilizations.

Poseidia is a Class I civilization—abundant, stable, and unified under Solari principles of restraint, balance, and communal responsibility. Society is organized into mastery-based Houses, each devoted to disciplines that serve the whole. Among them, House Elumina, caretakers of a rare and resilient Phoenix species, study the bird’s unique connection to the Field, while House Elori, masters of martial discipline, serve as the planet’s protectors. For thousands of years, the two families have lived, trained, and raised their children together.

When an accidental convergence of discipline, biology, and resonance allows members of both Houses to fully harmonize with the Field for the first time, the discovery threatens to upend Poseidia’s carefully maintained balance. With the help of House Festus, masters of advanced metallurgy and sigil design, the families create the first amulets—conductive tools that remain inert unless the bearer’s intent, discipline, and biology align—giving rise to the earliest Solari Guardians.

As the Solari turn inward, choosing to internalize technology and limit external power, Poseidia’s warrior caste—the Obsidari—grows restless. Once the planet’s shield against external threats, they now fear restraint will leave Poseidia defenseless in a hostile galaxy. Their desire for expansion and amplification draws the attention of Anu, ruler of the Anunnaki, whose long cold war with Poseidia has taught him that fracture is more effective than force.

Through manipulation, espionage, and a calculated offer of an off-world domain, Anu lures the Obsidari away—stripping Poseidia of its protectors without firing a single shot. As Phoenix populations are hunted to extinction across newly settled worlds and the Field becomes misunderstood and weaponized, Poseidia retreats into silence, its greatest truth reduced to symbol and myth.

Poseidia: Before the Fire chronicles the moment a civilization chooses restraint over dominance—and the price it pays for believing wisdom alone could protect it. The series deepens the mythology of The Phoenix, revealing how rebirth became legend, why balance was lost, and how the consequences of ancient choices still shape the fate of worlds.
