FROM BEYOND

FROM BEYOND
By Jay A Swendris

GENRE: Horror
LOGLINE:

In the underbelly of Detroit, a reclusive scientist unleashes a machine that fractures reality, amplifying lust, desire, and latent human instincts. As club-goers descend into chaos, his assistant slowly transforms into a psychic weapon, while an undercover FBI agent navigates a nightmarish world of body horror, multi-dimensional flickers, and seductive danger—where pleasure and terror are inseparable.

SYNOPSIS:

Subject / Synopsis:

Detroit’s night pulses with the raw energy of underground goth and fetish culture. At the heart of it sits a 4-story Gothic building from the late 1800s: a lavish loft hides the experiments of Professor Wincott, while the club below thrives with throbbing bass, strobe lights, and decadent fashion.

When Wincott powers his experimental machine, it awakens unseen dimensions, rewriting human perception and physiology. Patrons are overtaken by heightened lust, addictive impulses, and psychic disturbances.

Bill Skarsgård, the professor’s loyal assistant, begins to undergo horrifying transformations: body parts flicker between realities, telekinetic surges strike the club, and his mind floods with alien thoughts.

Amid the chaos, FBI Agent Katee Sackhoff, undercover and sober for ten years, infiltrates the club to uncover illegal activity. As she edges closer to Skarsgård, she must resist the intoxicating machine-induced desire while piecing together the terrifying truth.

Set to the industrial pulse of “The Devil Does Drugs” by Thrill Kill Kult, From Beyond: Detroit fuses body horror, psychological terror, erotic energy, and multi-dimensional sci-fi for a visceral cinematic experience.
