Set against the Greco-Persian Wars, Heroes of Bronze follows three unlikely friends across cultures—an Athenian adventurer, a Milesian commander, and a Persian noble—who try to prevent war as revolt spreads through their world… only to be forced onto opposing sides.
SYNOPSIS:
In 500 BC, war hangs in the air. The mighty Persian empire slowly encroaches upon the the Greek world, threatening to swallow it whole.
Three cities stand opposed: Miletus, a loyal subject of the Great King; Athens, a revolutionary birthplace of democracy; and Naxos, in open revolt against the empire’s grip.
At Naxos, two lovers are torn apart by the revolt. Their painful farewell triggers a chain of events that will eventually ignite the Greco-Persian Wars.
Amidst the turmoil, three unlikely friends—an Athenian adventurer, a Ionian commander, and a Persian noble—try to prevent war as revolt spreads through their world, only to have their lives shattered in one of the history’s most famous conflicts.
