During a violent robbery and the chaotic looting that follows, a grocery store worker becomes trapped inside the walk-in freezer — forced to watch society collapse through a tiny glass window as the cold slowly kills him.
SYNOPSIS:
The Glass Window follows an underpaid grocery store employee on the eve of a busy holiday rush. As he mops muddy floors, deals with unpaid wages, and watches his boss erase expiration dates on cans, he becomes increasingly aware of the quiet corruption surrounding him. While checking the cold storage for chickens, the metal door slams shut — trapping him inside a freezing room with no phone, no handle, and no way out.
From the small glass window high above, he sees the world unravel. A masked gunman storms the store, threatens his boss, steals the cash, and disappears. Instead of helping, the terrified customers morph into opportunistic looters, raiding the shelves like starving animals. Even the employees join in as the boss flees with hidden cash. Outside the glass, humanity eats itself alive. Inside the freezer, his body shuts down from the cold.
Growing delirious, he eats whatever frozen food he can find. His vomit melts the ice beneath him. Fading fast, he uncovers a massive safe under a cloth. With the last ounce of strength, he kicks it open — just as hypothermia drags him under. His vision blurs, heartbeat slows, and the world turns to darkness.
