RENT IS A FOUR-LETTER WORD
By Elle Bolan

GENRE: Comedy
LOGLINE: A chaotic Southern comedy. Two exes, one building: after losing their house, a divorced pair must rebuild separate lives under one roof of eccentric tenants, meddling supers and leaky pipes — discovering that survival in this building requires community, compromise and an occasional hacksaw.

SYNOPSIS:

After an accidental slip in their divorce paperwork, ex-spouses Nearie and Declan Moore discover they’re legally required to split ownership of their old rental property and instead must sell their marital home. Forced to live onsite and co-manage the building while co-parenting their two kids, the Moores must juggle tenant drama, parental chaos, and their own unresolved feelings for each other. The fact that they’re still nuts for each other only complicates matters.
