God and Jesus return to Earth to fix their PR problem — but
between cancel culture, conspiracy theorists, and a world
that’s moved on, their divine comeback is anything but holy.
SYNOPSIS:
Pilot Plot Summary:
Act I: Heaven
Begins with B.L. Zeebub plotting and addressing the camera
and then it quickly switches to Heaven, where we meet God
and Jesus lounging on clouds, watching the world below.
Jesus is frustrated with how people have interpreted His
message, and God, ever the old-school dad, is blissfully
unbothered. After a back-and-forth about how humanity has
distorted their stories, Jesus has an idea:
They need to return to Earth to set the record straight.
But to truly blend in and understand modern humans, they
make a pact (pinky swear!) not to use their powers.
Of course, things never go according to plan.
Act II: Rome—The Vatican
Their first stop will be the Vatican, where they suddenly
appear before the Pope, nearly giving him a holy coronary.
Jesus demands to know why the cross is still His main
symbol, despite the obvious trauma attached to it. Soon
enough Mom pays a visit to close out the episode followed
by a quick tag to leave the audience in stitches and
wondering what’s next.

our duo needs to rebrand.
First Season Summary:
After a quick stop in Times Square, the first season
follows God and Jesus on a road trip across America and
headed out west to Hollywood.
Along the way, they encounter a world that has wildly
misunderstood their teachings.
