The Burden of the Edge

In a world where massive Titans serve as living cities, mantid warrior Prayprey carries the devastating guilt of accidentally killing the Titan Virethish and its inhabitants in a moment of panic. Seeking redemption, she leads her weary Vanguard—including field medic Virëssa, desert scout Sol'ryn, fiery young soldier Zipra, and Hollow Swarm defector Vërryx—on a mission to free the remaining Titans from a creeping, bruise-violet corruption. Guided by the consciousness of her fallen friend Bracca, which lives inside her Shield of Thought, Prayprey learns she must wield the "flat" of her Blade of Voice to heal the corruption with memory, rather than using the "edge" to destroy it. She successfully frees the Titan Rhunmarch, giving birth to a crystal-chitin hound named Brindle,

Parallel Paths

To cover more ground, the Vanguard splits into two columns. Prayprey travels south, consulting the blind, human First Ember, who hides a dark connection to the corruption. Meanwhile, Virëssa travels west to Nymbari, confronting her cruel father to free the Titan Tenebrass, earning the loyalty of the vine-muscle hound Benedrix. In the deep desert, Sol'ryn finally stops running from her past, bonding with the golden hound Belenor and unlocking her own prismatic powers.

The Broken Cycle

Reunited, the empowered Vanguard assaults the Great Lake, a corrupted lung where Zipra nearly drowns but survives by manifesting the Pendant of Will. Realizing traditional strength cannot win, Prayprey opens her helm to reveal her hidden face of true mercy.

The Sigil

Understanding that their magical instruments can be stripped away in the final battle, the Vanguard members surrender their relics—Form, Reflection, Thought, and Will—fusing them permanently into Prayprey's body. Transformed into a living Sigil, Prayprey steps into the Mycothal Web to hunt Thal'gox across realities, setting the stage for the final confrontation.
