SYNOPSIS:

Valkyrith hatches in a culture where ritual predator-prey cycles maintain order and love traditionally ends in consumption. When she refuses to devour Vedran, the male who loves her, she’s branded a heretic. After her guardian Amethyl dies protecting the unborn during a zealot purge, Valkyrith flees to the Tower of Dust and Memory, where she learns forgiveness and transforms into PRAYPREY. She must confront Vel’Zhera’s Hollow Swarm and the ancient presence Thal’gox—a once-human mind fused to a fungal/AI lattice that equates mercy with stasis—while wielding the Blade of Voice and choosing mercy over vengeance.
