SYNOPSIS:
Set in the fractured kingdom of Kairia, Ordinary blends intimate character drama with large-scale fantasy spectacle. The story follows Elowen Sonathra, the daughter of a slain leader of the Resistance, who finds herself at the heart of a rebellion against a tyrannical king. While rival commanders clash over whether to declare open war or seek fragile peace, Elowen proposes a bold and dangerous plan: infiltrate the Royal Palace through the deadly Trials of Purification. But her path is not only political—it is deeply personal. Haunted by her father’s murder and driven by guilt, Elowen is torn between vengeance and justice, sacrifice and survival. When she crosses paths with the fiery Crown Prince Malakai, executioner of the king’s will, their confrontation will ignite a war that neither side can control. Dark, mature, and emotionally charged, Ordinary explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and the high cost of freedom. With its mix of tense political intrigue, visceral battles, and supernatural powers, it evokes the scope of House of the Dragon and the moral complexity of The Hunger Games, while offering a bold new vision of rebellion, magic, and sacrifice.
