A former child superstar, now the target of internet fatigue and public ridicule, starts over as the new kid at an ordinary high school, where he must learn who he is when fame no longer defines him.  

SYNOPSIS:

Sixteen-year-old Roy Garden used to be America's favorite child star.

For years, he was everywhere - movies, television, commercials, talk shows, toys, billboards. Audiences couldn't escape him. But what begins as fame eventually turns into fatigue. As the internet finds its next obsession, Roy becomes the target of memes, jokes, and relentless online ridicule. By the time he turns sixteen, he's no longer America's sweetheart. He's the kid everyone is tired of seeing.

When his career collapses and the money runs out, Roy's family is forced to abandon their celebrity lifestyle and move to an ordinary suburban town. For the first time in his life, Roy must attend a regular high school and try to live like a normal teenager.

The problem is that nobody sees him as normal.

Teachers treat him like a former celebrity. Classmates recognize him instantly and react with annoyance rather than admiration. Everywhere he goes, he encounters the same unspoken reaction: Not this guy again.

Struggling to fit in, Roy forms an unlikely friendship with a group of social outsiders who have little interest in his former fame. Together, they begin creating an offbeat comic book, a passion project that gives Roy something he's never truly had before - a creative identity beyond his public image.

As he navigates friendship, first love, and the challenges of starting over, Roy gradually discovers a version of himself that exists outside the spotlight. But when an unexpected opportunity offers him a chance to reclaim the celebrity status he once lost, he must decide whether he wants to return to the life that defined him or embrace the person he has finally become.
