In a world where banning someone online destroys their real life, a freelance kuker-hacker enforces order until a routine job unleashes folklore demons and forces him to confront a system spiraling beyond his control.
SYNOPSIS:
Katoko takes a routine job: ban a group of low-level trolls disrupting a local network. For him, banning is just a service, fast, controlled, and precise. He executes the job efficiently and publicly humiliates them, reinforcing his reputation as an enforcer.
But the ban has consequences.
Stripped of access and identity, the trolls retaliate by summoning Juan El Chupacabra, a volatile folklore demon who hates kukers and doesn’t operate online. He comes in person, turning a minor job into a physical threat.
Juan hunts Katoko.
As he closes in, his presence destabilizes the system, WiFi collapses, signals distort, and control breaks down.
For the first time, Katoko is forced out of his structured approach and into direct confrontation with chaos he cannot regulate.
Outmatched, he survives only when an unpredictable external force disrupts the situation, driving Juan away as the system resets on the surface.
But underneath, something has shifted: Katoko realizes that every ban does not restore order, it creates a bigger one.
