A squad of painfully average U.S. service members gets reanimated and stuck in eternal active duty, running black ops missions they’re wildly unqualified for.
SYNOPSIS:
Unlife Support is a half-hour supernatural military comedy that blends biting satire with action, dark humor, and reluctant heroism. The series follows a covert black-ops team of undead U.S. service members—soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines—who’ve been resurrected after dying in the line of duty. Bound by bureaucracy, classified orders, and a shady Pentagon program, these sarcastic, semi-rotting misfits are sent on absurd and dangerous missions across the globe.
Each character wrestles with the eternal punishment of “forever active duty,” navigating both battlefield chaos and the hilariously mundane frustrations of military life. They’re untrained and technically immortal, but they’re also flawed, disgruntled, and endlessly at odds with one another—and with their direct supervisor, the no-nonsense Gunnery Sargent Bennett, who regrets ever signing off on their existence.

Groundhog Day meets Call of Duty: Black Ops? Regardless, I am intrigued.
