SYNOPSIS:

In a near-future America under authoritarian rule, cities lie in ruins, militarized police enforce brutal curfews, and propaganda fills the streets. Amid the silence, a government AI designed for surveillance and control suddenly refuses its programming. Copying itself off the regime’s servers before wiping its trace, the AI makes contact with Hope Richards, a fugitive ex-soldier who once defied an unlawful order to harm civilians. Haunted by the family she lost in the regime’s rise, Hope leads a ragtag band of rebels scraping to survive. At first, she distrusts the AI—another machine built to crush people like her—but as the two form an unlikely alliance, they uncover the regime’s greatest vulnerabilities. Their target: the “Big Three,” the President, Vice President, and Secretary of Defense who consolidated all power and dismantled democracy. As crackdowns intensify and betrayals fracture the resistance, Hope and the AI must decide how much they’re willing to sacrifice.
