SYNOPSIS:

Haeri Min is a university student in Seoul, living a comfortable life with her best friend and roommate, Mina. But when Mina suddenly goes missing, Haeri's world unravels.

A body is suddenly discovered in the Cheonggyecheon stream, a young man with no visible injuries, only a mysterious black liquid seeping from his mouth. Detective Kim + Detective Jaehwa are assigned to the case, but they're baffled: no signs of struggle, no apparent cause of death. When more bodies surface across Seoul, with the same strange substance, panic spreads through the city.

With the police dismissing her concerns about Mina, Haeri launches her own investigation. She retraces Mina's steps, As Haeri digs deeper, her path crosses with Detective Kim and Jaehwa, and an alliance forms.

Together, they uncover disturbing patterns: Haeri realizes Seoul's gleaming surface conceals something sinister...something that's been awakened.
