In a world where falling asleep becomes fatal, a mysterious epidemic drives humanity to the brink of madness as people fight to stay awake. As her body begins to fail, Sophia must outlast exhaustion, or die the moment she closes her eyes
SYNOPSIS:
In a decaying modern future, sleep has become a death sentence. Anyone who loses consciousness is seized by violent paralysis, their minds dragged into grotesque waking nightmares before their bodies finally shut down. No one knows why it’s happening. There is no cure. Only terror and exhaustion.
Sophia and Hyeon exist in a world that never rests. Cities glow endlessly, sirens and screams replacing silence. Adrenaline is the only barrier between life and death forced through pain, fear, drugs, and self-inflicted trauma. People carve their skin, provoke violence, and chase near-fatal thrills just to stay awake a few seconds longer. Those who can’t are left frozen in place, eyes open, screaming without sound.
As days blur into hallucinations, reality begins to rot. Shadows move. Faces distort. The dead seem to whisper. Sophia’s body starts betraying her, her mind slipping uncontrollably toward sleep, while Hyeon grows increasingly desperate, willing to cross horrifying lines to keep her alive. Each surge of adrenaline buys time, but steals something vital in return.
With humanity unravelling and their own bodies breaking down, Sophia and Hyeon are forced to confront an unbearable truth: the longer they resist sleep, the more monstrous survival becomes. And when adrenaline finally fails, death won’t come quietly it will come screaming from the dark.

...her eyes; now, to save the word, she has to find the only person who seems immune, and appreciates some "well needed shut eye," Jim Carrey, who's locked up in the high-security wing of a mental facility in Texas.
No, just kidding!
