SYNOPSIS:

Gumshoe Michael Archuleta has been sleeping on the couch in his office for weeks, ever since his wife declared that she's a lesbian and kicked him out of the apartment. Only he's not getting much sleep. Not making much money either. Ends up scrounging for food in the alleyway dumpster, leftovers from Danny Boy Deli downstairs. Just when he thinks life can't get worse, his big brother, Ernie, turns up dead. No leads from the police, but Michael knows Ernie was murdered. The night he died, Ernie left the office to work on a case, something about Uncle Dicky.

Who is Uncle Dicky? And the stranger with a handlebar mustache that showed up at Ernie's funeral? Where's the wall safe that Ernie purchased six months before he died?
