SYNOPSIS:

In 1910 New York, young businessman Hugh Ridgeway stands to inherit a fortune—if he remains unmarried until 25. Fearing his scheming Aunt Alma may try to kill him to claim the money, Hugh elopes with his fiancée, Grace, hoping to marry on his birthday and return to collect. But a typhoon wrecks their ship, and Hugh washes ashore on a remote island—not with Grace, but with a stranger: Lady Tennyson Lunceford.

Mistaken for gods by the island’s native tribe, Hugh and Tennyson are thrust into a world of survival, deception, and unexpected emotional connection. As tensions grow between two rival tribes, Hugh is asked to lead a defense—and Tennyson must decide whether to support him or expose the truth.

After nearly a year and a half, when rescue finally arrives, Hugh learns that his fiancée is alive and living in Manila. Now, he must decide whether to return to the life he initially planned or embrace the life that found him by accident.

What begins as a desperate escape turns into a journey of identity, love, and transformation—culminating in a final choice between the life they fled and the one they found.
