NOSTRADAMUSGPT
By John Howard

GENRE: Thriller / Suspense, Comedy
LOGLINE:

To redeem himself, a college student who cheated on his paper using A.I. must decipher NostradamusGPT's cryptic predictions to uncover a secret society's misguided and sinister plot before they bring mayhem and murder to a university.

SYNOPSIS:

"NostradamusGPT" is written along the lines of films like "The Da Vinci Code" and "Sherlock Holmes (2009, Robert Downey, Jr.)" and has been recommended by We Screenplay.

Bradley procrastinates on a research project and relies on AI to write his paper on Nostradamus. He has second thoughts about cheating, but after lightning knocks out the electricity, he has no way to undo the submission of his paper. Professor Jensen calls Bradley out for cheating and begins the process of formally expelling him.

Moving back in with his adoptive parents, Bradley boots up his computer to discover an autonomous AI, NostradamusGPT, which was created when the power went out, fusing together elements such as the information from Bradley's research on Nostradamus and his roommate, Seth's, adaptive program.

After having some fun with NostradamusGPT, whose predictive powers allow Bradley and Seth to win big in an online casino, Bradley discerns how a more serious prediction suggests the very professor who is expelling him is in grave danger, but she ends up being the dangerous leader of a Nostradamus cult that believes she's the reincarnation of Nostradamus and is the only hope of avoiding World War III.

Now, with time running out, Bradley must uncover Jensen's misguided plan to save Jensen's rival professor from being murdered for standing in the way of her audience with the Pope during a world leaders conference, or a cult's scheme will succeed and Bradley's own personal redemption will be prevented.
