SYNOPSIS:

When six-year-old Zack Stokes is abducted by terrorists and paraded in a brutal viral video, his father Sam, a mild-mannered FinTech professional with no combat training, is thrust into a nightmare. Desperate and out of his depth, he teams up with his brother Kyle, a retired, hardened Navy SEAL, on an off-the-books mission into war-torn Syria to bring Zack home.

With only covert intel and a piggybacked airdrop insertion, Sam and Kyle risk everything on an unsanctioned mission into Syria. When the drop goes wrong and Kyle is hit by a crate and presumed dead, Sam is left alone in hostile territory, relying on instinct, scraps of intel, and sheer will to track down his son.

At the heart of the threat is Abu Al Khayr, an extremist leader seeking revenge against Kyle for a covert strike that killed his father, and his wife and son in the crossfire. Unable to reach Kyle himself, and with Kyle having no children of his own, Al Khayr's men seize Zack instead, the closest thing to retribution he can get. Just as Al Khayr moves to make an example of the boys he's taken, Kyle, alive and leading a SEAL extraction team, storms the compound alongside Sam to bring them out.

The mission succeeds, and Sam, Kyle, and Zack make it home. But Al Khayr survives his wounds and follows them there. In a final, harrowing confrontation inside the Stokes family home, it is Zack, the boy who couldn't bring himself to fight back in Syria, who finds the courage to save his baby sister and end the threat for good.
