SYNOPSIS:

In a dying world battered by endless storms and social collapse, sixteen-year-old Kyro Hale lives in the shadow of a father who vanished without explanation and a mother struggling to keep their family intact as civilization fractures around them. Panic attacks rule Kyro’s inner life, leaving him feeling powerless in a world that grows more violent and unstable by the day. His mother, once strong and certain, is slowly fading under the strain, forcing Kyro to become the emotional anchor for his younger sister, Airi, even as he barely holds himself together.

When whispers surface of a secret evacuation initiative designed to save a chosen few before the planet becomes uninhabitable, Kyro’s search for his missing father takes on new urgency. He discovers that his father was connected to the program in ways far more complicated than he ever imagined. As protests erupt and entire cities descend into chaos, Kyro is pulled into the center of a system built on silence, selective salvation, and ruthless control over who deserves to survive.

Joined by two fearless classmates who refuse to accept the world as it’s being handed to them, Kyro digs deeper into the evacuation project, uncovering a truth that threatens to shatter what remains of his family. The program isn’t simply about escape—it’s about obedience, sacrifice, and deciding whose lives are expendable. With his mother’s health deteriorating and time running out, Kyro is forced to confront the same impossible choices his father once faced.

As the final evacuation window approaches, Kyro must find a way to steady himself in moments when panic threatens to consume him. His journey becomes less about fleeing the planet and more about claiming agency in a world designed to strip it away. To save his family, Kyro must decide whether survival at any cost is worth the price—and whether true endurance comes from escape, or from standing against a system that has already decided their fate.
