In occupied Jerusalem, Mary Magdalene teaches people how to survive crowded lanes controlled by fear and public accusation, until Jesus shows her that survival is not the same as freedom.

SYNOPSIS:

Mary Magdalene knows how to keep people alive in a city ruled by fear, crowded lanes, and public marking. She teaches the vulnerable to stay near the wall, move early, and avoid giving the authorities a name.

When Jesus begins teaching people to stand, make room, and refuse the meaning of the marks placed on them, Mary’s survival system is challenged. As Temple officials turn her movement into a public charge, a vulnerable boy named Ezra becomes the cost of being followed.

When Mary’s own command nearly gets Ezra killed, she must face the limits of control. As Jesus is arrested and taken to the hill, Mary learns that not everything can be moved around, and that survival is only the beginning of freedom.
