A years-long investigation into the declining male population in Appalachia turns into a literal modern-day Witch Hunt as an award-winning reporter is faced with exposing a centuries-old coven or allowing it to continue doing its work.
SYNOPSIS:
After a Pulitzer winning reporter is disgraced, she retreats to a family property and place she has never been but feels strangely drawn to. The small North Carolina town presents the opportunity for Jerusha to get her career back on track by completing a years long investigation into the declining male population of Appalachia.
As her life settles into a new routine, she becomes more entranced and mesmerized by this small town and starts to make personal discoveries that will turn her world upside down.
Her investigative reporting intersects with the personal discoveries and an almost unbelievable reality starts to dawn for Jerusha. As she untangles these stories she identifies the likelihood that nearly every significant historical event in U.S. history has a foundation in witchcraft that continues thru today.
