SYNOPSIS:

Philippines, 1943: ENRIQUE (19) works as a field hand in the uncertain world at war around them. They transition to become ISABELLE and are degraded by the villagers. But when the Japanese attack the village, Isabelle saves the day. The villagers are humbled, but Isabelle has lost their mother in the fighting, who encouraged them to fight on. Six months later: The Japanese continue to struggle for control of the island, but Isabelle has been hunting them, sabotaging them. The Japanese army is desperate to find what they call the Lady Man Killer. TAKAMURA (35), who has a personal vendetta against the lady man killer, is leading the hunt. He tricks a desperate mayor into giving up Isabelle's location before destroying a village. Meanwhile, at OSS, CAPTAIN MELANIE TAYLOR is assembling a crack team and sophisticated weapons for a daring mission to resolve some unfinished business in the Philippines. A band of guerrillas fights against the Japanese invaders. One of these men is AMIR, the Laughing Lion, a man from a long line of Filipino resisters and heroes. They discover a massive shipment of looted gold is heading for Manila. They need Isabelle's help to get the gold. At OSS, Taylor recruits JACK DAWSON, a drag performer, to go undercover in the Philippines to gather intelligence, disrupt the enemy, and maybe even assassinate some high-ranking Japanese military guys. Takamura is assigned by SATO to provide security to a high-powered gathering at a gentleman's club and to protect the VIPs. Melanie and Dawson capture a Japanese sub and a lot of valuable intel as they approach the destination. Isabelle assumes the disguise of Enrique and has infiltrated the GOLDEN LILY when Takamura arrives. It is filled with captive white women. MAYA gets the gold route from Sato and shares the info with Isabelle. Top Nazi and Japanese brass have brought a Super Battleship into the area - something that threatens to disrupt the balance of the entire conflict and the trajectory of Dawson and Taylor's mission. MARIPOSA, an associate of Amir, finds Isabelle and tries to get them to join the mission. They share the information but will only fight alone. Amir and his troops try to ambush the gold convoy but are repulsed. Amir vows to get revenge on the Japanese - and he's going to get help from Taylor, who emerges as a member of the team and Mariposa's lover - that was her unfinished business. They need to gather more steam before they can fight. Amir is impatient and goes on his own, getting bad intel that Sato planted with Maya, and plans his attack. Meanwhile, Taylor and the others arrive at the Golden Lily, astounded to learn that Amir intends to ambush on his own. This could jeopardize all of Taylor's meticulous planning. Sato isn't just setting up the guerrillas - he's setting up Takamura as well. He's sent Amir and Takamura on a collision course. Amir's ambush begins -- but the ruthless Takamura turns the tables and kills him. Isabelle overhears Mariposa and Taylor discussing their reasons for fighting and the better world they envision after the war; she's convinced to help. She's sent by Takamura right into the heart of enemy command. Back at the Golden Lily, Taylor's team rigs the place with explosives - they are going to destroy the place! Takamura takes Isabelle to Sato -- and just before a moment of violence, they slit his throat! Everything is ready to go - the Japanese and Nazi bigwigs think they've got their gold out and head to the Golden Lily to cut loose, walking into a trap. Meanwhile, Taylor's team at the harbor is setting out to blow up the Super Battleship. Takamura shows up and demands that the women take the battleship, taking Taylor and Maya out of the club and throwing the plan into question. Gunfire erupts, and chaos further compromises the plan. Mariposa is fatally wounded but manages to get to TOJO before her last breath. Eventually, the team can blow the Golden Lily. At the battleship, Taylor is taken under duress to the chambers of a Japanese Prince, where she manages to escape by cutting off his penis! Isabelle shows up and saves Maya from a lustful Nazi. Chaos ensues when the saboteurs activate the explosion inside the battleship, as Isabelle and Maya try to get off the boat before it blows, but they get locked in a tense battle with Takamura. Taylor pushes YAMASHITA and herself into the sea, and Isabelle is badly wounded by defeating Takamura. The battleship explodes and sinks into the sea. However, the mission has tipped the balance in the. Pacific - and victory is close at hand.

MACHINE GUNS AND MASCARA sounds interesting, Ryan Viray. I suggest adding the stakes to your logline. I also suggest focusing on the protagonist in your logline, unless it's an ensemble cast story. You could also tell more about the espionage if you like.
