With the help of Dr. Langford, an academic physicist specializing in atmospheric anomalies, Rita begins to suspect these pulses aren’t accidents they’re signals. Warnings. Or invitations.

In the present, Dr. Sarah Kim, a rising force in the STP Alliance, picks up an unexpected transmission: Rita’s voice, carried through time.
