In the modern world of high-tech espionage, one mustachioed spy insists on living like it’s still 1974—velvet suits, vinyl records, and all—until his obsession with retro cool lands him in a very real international crisis… with his mustache (and dignity) on the line.
SYNOPSIS:
The Mustache That Knew Too Much is a stylish spy comedy about a man hopelessly out of time—but never out of hair product. Agent Barclay Rogerson is a modern-day intelligence officer who refuses to let go of the golden age of espionage. Inspired by the suave heroes of the 1960s and ’70s, he solves crimes with analog charm, over-the-top gadgets, and a deep, unironic reverence for his mustache.
When Barclay uncovers a plot so convoluted it could’ve been written by a Cold War novelist with a head injury, he must rely on his outdated instincts, disco-infused fighting style, and a reluctant tech-savvy partner who would rather not be seen in public with him. But beneath the flared trousers and mirrored aviators lies a real spy—and maybe even a real heart.
Equal parts parody and heartfelt tribute, The Mustache That Knew Too Much blends retro flair with contemporary absurdity in a comedy that proves the right attitude—and a glorious mustache—can still save the day.
