In a near-future society where hypothermic hibernation and memory transplantation are cutting-edge medical practices, a man wakes up from a 20-year sleep—only to discover that he carries the memories of a powerful corporate chairman, and those memories may determine the future of a billion-dollar empire.
SYNOPSIS:
To avoid the financial burden of treating an incurable illness, Kim Han-tae volunteers for a hospital-run hypothermic hibernation trial and is put to sleep for 20 years. When he wakes, modern medicine has cured him—but something is wrong. His behavior changes, and he starts displaying knowledge and habits he never had. It is revealed that his brain was secretly implanted with the memories of Oh Gun-moo, the chairman of SL Group, who lies in hibernation after a stroke. The SL Group’s secretariat seeks to exploit Han-tae’s new identity to resolve their corporate succession crisis.
As family tensions escalate, the narrator—Han-tae’s son—gets involved in legal, moral, and emotional conflicts. Eventually, to uncover the truth, he too undergoes memory implantation. In a tense courtroom climax, the existence of a hidden will, a forgotten mistress, and a secret villa all converge
