SYNOPSIS:

A young man addresses a woman who has already gone — reconstructing her from memory, from the doors she left open, from the spaces between her arrivals and departures. Moving from a dark mirrored room to a rainy street, from an empty cinema to a mountainside covered in the names of history, Orphic Descent into Hell in Search of a Higher Love traces the interior journey of a consciousness that has lost its reflection — and must climb toward a light that exists beyond the mirror. A short film about the only question that survives every answer: how can one say "I love you" — with love itself?
