Written by a veteran, for veterans, this war story takes place in an environment that even some of the most elite soldiers struggle to operate in: the jungle. This British patrol, with an unknown CIA "advisor", will need all their skills to escape the cartel when the hunters become the hunted.
SYNOPSIS:
A Special Forces team inserts into enemy-held territory covertly, intending to locate a cartel hideout and call in an air strike. The CIA, who has been operating in this country for years, insists on sending an advisor to deconflict with their operations.
The first indication something is wrong comes when it is discovered the CIA advisor isn't cut out for the job, but is someone apparently disposable. He has to be replaced and the CIA sends a free-lance operator - a tough Latina named Carmen.
The job seems to be on-track when they locate and recce the cartel manufacturing plant. However the air strike intended for the cartel instead lands where the patrol was meant to be. It becomes clear that the cartel is a CIA operation, and they don't want their business disturbed, even if it means sacrificing these "allies".
The team finds themselves hunted, on the run, in enemy controlled territory, with their only comms being linked straight to those trying to kill them. They still don't trust Carmen, who they suspect might be working with the CIA.
They must fight their way through the jungle, only their skills and teamwork to count on.
