A Special Forces counter-cartel operation is derailed when the team encounters Mictlan, the entrance to the Aztec underworld. Two members are possessed by spirits of Conquistadors, who go on a journey to live life to the fullest. Like a violent, R-rated Barbie movie.

SYNOPSIS:

A mixture of action, MesoAmerican mythology, fish-out-of-water and buddy comedy are found in this story of a Navy SEAL team that stumbles into the entrance to the Aztec underworld. Two members are possessed by ghosts of conquistadors, who have been trapped there since being sacrificed by the Aztecs five hundred years earlier.

The two embrace their new chance at life, and find themselves back in San Diego, stumbling into the gay district and assuming that's just how the world is nowadays.

In the meantime, the remainder of their team embark on a series of misadventures trying to get back to the States.

The fun times are interrupted by the return of the conquistador's captain, who also managed to escape the underworld, but who is determined to release the feathered serpent Quetzalcōātl, who will swallow the sun and end all of creation, ensuring he won't have to return to what he sees as hell.

Set against the backdrop of an impending nuclear war, which everyone seems indifferent or apathetic to, they discover purpose in their sacrifice and its role in lighting the "new fire" which renews the world.
