15 years after an alien virus decimates civilization, a ruthless survivor finds her humanity again when tasked with delivering two teens to their rebellious father.

SYNOPSIS:

15 years ago, a series of comets crashed to Earth! From it, an alien virus infected major cities across the world. Those infected began to grow red welts and driven mad, looking to bite any non-infected human they could. During that time, Riley, a 14 year old track prodigy and daddy’s girl, would bear witness to the initial outbreak and watch her father die, not to the virus, but her fellow man.

Today, only a handful of cities, now called Citadels, and settlements remain, scattered and isolated across the U.S. Riley, now 29, has turned into a ruthless survivor, only interested in keeping herself and her partner alive. They are a pair of mercenaries, willing to take any job as long as the pay is good.

Riley’s life takes an unexpected turn when a ghost from her past brings an unusual job to her. Deliver a 16 year old boy and his 13 year old half sister, who have only recently learned of each other, to their father in the next Citadel over. To complicate matters, their father is wanted for assassinating a council member, but they aren't aware of that yet. Now, Riley and her partner must guide these children to the next Citadel to reunite these kids with their fugitive father.
