DEVIL'S CLAW

DEVIL'S CLAW
By Kasey Hill

GENRE: Horror, Thriller
LOGLINE:

When a couple vacations at a luxury resort built on cursed Cherokee land, their dream getaway turns into a terrifying battle for survival against vengeful spirits and a soul-devouring ancient evil that has waited centuries to awaken—and feed.

SYNOPSIS:

It’s hungry…

And it hasn’t eaten in ages.

In the heart of Franklin County, Virginia, nestled between Smith Mountain Lake and Philpott Lake, the cursed grounds of Foxwood Hill conceal something ancient—something ravenous. At its center lies Ingram Manor, a crumbling relic built in the 1800s atop sacred, forbidden Cherokee land. For centuries, it has devoured the spirits of those who dared call it home. Now, those restless souls remain trapped—wailing in rot and ruin, begging for justice.

Patrick Ingram, the last living heir to the Ingram bloodline, has transformed the estate into the luxurious Foxwood Hills Resort. But blood calls to blood, and the spirits haven’t forgotten. Nor have they forgiven.

When vacationers Candace and Carter book a stay to enjoy the nearby Boating Regatta and Fishing Tournament, they expect summer fun—not a descent into supernatural terror. As the land awakens and ancient vengeance rises from the soil, the couple finds themselves hunted by more than just ghosts. A primeval evil long sealed beneath the hills has stirred… and it’s starving.

What begins as a romantic getaway spirals into a nightmare of possession, madness, and survival.

Will they escape with their lives—or will their souls become the next feast?

Inspired by real geography and whispered legends of the Blue Ridge, Foxwood Hills is a haunting blend of Southern folklore and Native American mythology. All characters and events are fictionalized, and any resemblance is purely coincidental.
