SYNOPSIS:

Synopsis: In France, a seemingly calm family of three lives together: Peter, his wife Isabelle, and their mother Milla. The balance shatters when Lee, Peter’s brother, returns from America. Gradually, Lee and Isabelle enter a forbidden relationship. Milla discovers their secret and threatens to tell Peter. To hide the affair, Isabelle kills her mother by strangling her beside a river. A corrupt police officer named John, who had once been attracted to Isabelle, finds evidence from the crime scene and begins blackmailing her to force her into a relationship with him as well. After repeated abuse, Isabelle ultimately kills John too. Meanwhile, Lee meets a girl named Lia and distances himself from Isabelle. Consumed by jealousy, Isabelle attacks Lia’s house. Peter eventually learns the whole truth, controls Isabelle, and takes her to a psychiatric treatment center. In the end, Peter, burdened with deep pain and silence, decides neither to forgive nor abandon Isabelle — he will keep her close, hoping to find a glimpse of humanity left amid love and madness. --- © Copyright Reserved.
