SYNOPSIS:
Quarterfinalist - StoryPros Awards 2015
This is a genre-smashing desert noir that starts like No Country for Old Men, veers into The Boys, and ends somewhere between RoboCop and Apocalypse Now. The script centers around Sheriff, an aging, guilt-ridden lawman with a dying wife, and Makaveli, a fugitive super soldier haunted by broken memory and fractured identity.
As chaos erupts in the form of Rasputin—a fellow Mad Dog turned psychotic terminator—the story becomes an ultra-violent, occasionally philosophical reflection on patriotism, trauma, government corruption, and survival. Add in news crews, rave shootouts, hallucinations, and rogue CIA handlers, and you’ve got a relentless, blood-soaked ride.
