SYNOPSIS:
Roll Models screenplay follows host Maria and her puppet friend Panga as they transport the audience back in time to learn about the critical historical contributions of the Women's Royal Naval Service (WRNS or "Wrens") during World Wars I and II in Britain. We see the Wrens face discrimination yet persevere to serve their country by working in communications, cryptography, navigation, and more.
The story celebrates the vital role of women in the war efforts while teaching viewers about coding, hypothetical naval strategies, and gender equality issues along the way. Ultimately it advocates for continued progress in women's rights and honors the sacrifices and achievements of female veterans and codebreakers.
