Teri Ann and Wendell seek revenge on the members of a dangerous cult. In their quest for vengeance, they strike a Faustian bargain. They gain the ability to bend the laws of nature, but at the cost their humanity.

SYNOPSIS:

CONCEPT: Strange things are happening in Little Smoke, Louisiana; things the local residents don't like to talk about. Anyone seeking to uncover the reasons behind the disappearances, will unwittingly venture into a forbidding gray area between horrific violence and the supernatural.

SYNOPSIS: The story opens, floating above a brutal attack. In the aftermath, we see a mysterious female figure cleaning a large bloodstain on the floor. She puts the bloodied rags in garbage bags and leaves them in the back of a large house. Standing at the back door, her attention is focused on two figures, facing away from the camera, their attention focused on a bonfire – where two large objects are burning.

The town of Little Smoke Louisiana, has experienced a string of mysterious disappearances. The wife and mother of the most recent victims, TERRI ANN MCKENNA** is on television, imploring the local residents to come forward with any information about her husband and son’s whereabouts.

WENDELL BRIGGS feels for MRS. MCKENNA, but his thoughts are focused on his own life. In the course of an afternoon, he loses his job at a local tech firm, and goes home to his girlfriend, hoping for some comfort, only for her to reveal she’s moving out in a few days.

To take his mind off his troubles WENDELL’S friend HARLAN takes him out for a night on the town, hoping it will help take WENDELL’S mind off his troubles.

That night sets in motion a chain of events that will witness TERRI ANN, WENDELL and another local resident MAGGIE LUJAN swept up in a long, bloody and terrifying journey into the darkness at the heart of their community and an encounter with a mysterious figure known only as ‘The Teacher’.
