Case Chin Wing works at a new social media company and studies misinformation in his spare time. When his co-worker is apparently killed in a robbery gone wrong, he's pulled into a conspiracy involving Trader Joe's, white supremacists, and hired assassins.

Ironically, the conspiracy is exactly the type of story Case would've dismissed out of hand, days earlier; but now he's in one, up to his eyes.
