SYNOPSIS:
A being from the sky, naked and silent, lands on Earth in a field of grass. A discreet spectator of humanity, he drifts through the centuries—observing, learning, writing, sketching—never truly forming bonds. A rare smile, a few words exchanged, a deep melancholy: he is the invisible witness to our world. At the end of time, when only one human remains, a fleeting friendship blossoms between them. When the last person finally passes away, the celestial being leaves as he came, taking with him the memory of our “blue.” Concept & Tone: • Explores time, solitude, and the fragile beauty of humanity. • Elliptical storytelling: fragments, memories, sparse voice-over, pure emotion. • Visual style: natural light, contemplative shots, gestures and glances more than dialogue. • Message: Maybe all of us, at some point, crossed paths with this silent witness—a messenger of human memory. • Title: “Too Late, I Love the Blue”—because there’s no one left to share this blue world. Originality: A visual poem about the passage of time, loneliness, and transmission—somewhere between minimalist sci-fi and a universal fable.

I love the initial premise Minh Koby Nguyen but I would consider adding a goal and some stakes. Great start!

Thank you, Leonardo! The idea behind this short film isn’t necessarily to have a clear goal or a traditional story arc. It’s more about offering a unique vision—a poetic point of view on our existence and humanity. It’s meant to be a contemplative piece, inviting viewers to reflect rather than follow a conventional plot.
