SYNOPSIS:
The screenplay follows Anthony, a young American soldier who loses his leg in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan, and his best friend Salam, a Muslim American soldier who saves Anthony's life in the attack but is killed. Anthony returns home struggling with PTSD and alcoholism, while his friend Salam's father Suliman deals with anti-Muslim sentiment and harassment.
