An ambitious advertising CEO’s life spirals as she falls for a seemingly charming photographer whose manipulation leads her to loose not just her company, but also her grip on reality.

SYNOPSIS:

Alicia Davies is the CEO of an advertising agency, No Limit, which is in the middle of a big investment round that will help an expansion of the agency to New York.

Although successful in her career, Alicia is unlucky in love, as she can’t find a balance between work and her private life, amplified through insecurities inflicted by her own family.

When Alicia hires a freelance photographer, Mark, for one of her agency’s projects, he is instantly smitten by her. Although Alicia isn’t interested in Mark when they first meet, he manages to win her over with his geeky charm and persistence.

As their relationship progresses, Mark’s career seems to take off, while Alicia is experiencing one setback after the other. As Mark’s “good guy” mask slowly slips, Alicia’s life turns into emotional rollercoaster, which leads to bad business decisions and knocks her confidence.

Whilst recognising Mark’s dark side, Alicia can’t help but see Mark as a victim of his past, after she meets his emotionally abusive mother. Soon after, Alicia finds herself caught in a web of lies and manipulations that result in her falling even deeper into the abyss. With her world shattered in pieces, Alicia is in the state of a complete emotional breakdown, which is fuelled by Mark’s manipulative games.

The rest of the story follows Alicia and her emotional and personal journey to set her life back on course, break free of Mark's hold over her, discover the truth and start anew.
