When a family mediator gets put on a divorce case more sinister than it seems, she must reach a settlement with the help of the family's fifteen year old daughter daughter, or risk her entire career.

SYNOPSIS:

Ready to throw in the towel at her law firm, Clarissa Monroe proposes an ultimatum to her boss- a promise to become a partner, or she walks to get better pay elsewhere. Promising to give her a promotion after one more case in divorce court, she accepts.

She meets with the Erikson family, a mom, dad, and one fifteen year old daughter. Mom wants to divorce dad for allegedly having an affair, but lets the fact that they have an eighteen year old daughter in the hospital, in a coma. As she spends more time with the family, she learns that no one gets along with mom, and the only person giving her any information is their fifteen year old. These two strike up a bond that ultimately reveals that the mother is who put her daughter in a coma.

The court date comes, and Clarissa must fight for her job, as well as the good of the Erikson family.
