SENOR’S DREAM — A CALL AGAINST THE INVISIBLE FORCES THAT GUIDE US

SENOR’S DREAM — A CALL AGAINST THE INVISIBLE FORCES THAT GUIDE US
By John S. Meinlem

GENRE: Sci-fi, Romance
LOGLINE:

When a mysterious desert train whisks a lost boy into a world ruled by emotion and silence, he must cross a land with no memory, no truth, and no time — guided only by a girl who once told him to jump. A land where a depressed, book-eating silverfish commands emotional giants.

SYNOPSIS:

A strange train appears out of nowhere in the middle of the desert and, without explanation, takes off over a cliff, carrying with it a lost little boy — who stepped aboard simply because he felt he should.

Not knowing where he was headed, he finds himself — at an impossible altitude — face to face with a mysterious little girl who commands him: “Jump now.”

Obey or not? Continuing the journey seemed dangerous, but trusting a stranger felt even riskier.

By jumping, he begins a one-way journey: lost in an unknown land, with no memory of where he came from and no way to tell right from wrong.

Everything feels strange... but how can one judge what’s “strange” if they can’t remember what “normal” is?

As he tries to find his way back home — a home he no longer remembers — the boy becomes trapped in a world where emotions can be summoned like spells.

In a moment of despair, “hatred” takes root in his being, leaving a mysterious mark on his neck and plunging him into a deep sleep.

Years pass.

When he awakens, he is but a shadow of what he once was — malnourished, partially blind, and still without answers.

But the little girl, now a wise young woman named Meilim, has been by his side the whole time, silently protecting him.

Guided by fragmented memories and Meilim’s careful hand, he resumes his journey. Each city they visit is a puzzle: in this world, words are so sacred that speaking without talking becomes an art, and observing is the only way to survive.

Amid bizarre creatures — like a depressive silverfish who commands giants, and an enigmatic note from a sacred harpy.
