On a remote fringe world, a former Jedi, a bounty hunter, a drifter, and a curious young mechanic uncover a buried Sith artifact—unleashing paranoia, buried secrets, and the lure of darkness; as trust shatters, only one will survive the night.
SYNOPSIS:
On a forgotten fringe world, three strangers—Zane Kael, a reclusive former Jedi haunted by failure; Jax Virell, a hardened bounty hunter with shifting loyalties; and Kira Valen, a mysterious drifter hiding her past—cross paths in a dusty cantina. Their uneasy alliance is soon complicated by the arrival of Toren Daskal, a sharp and inquisitive local mechanic who’s fascinated by old tech and ancient Jedi lore.
When the group stumbles upon a buried Sith artifact in the forest, Toren eagerly tags along, drawn by curiosity—and perhaps something more. But as the artifact’s dark energy stirs buried traumas and secret ambitions, tension fractures the group. Toren’s youthful idealism and technical skill make him a vital asset, but his naiveté leaves him vulnerable to the artifact’s pull.
Seeking shelter in Zane’s isolated homestead, mistrust festers. Is Toren unknowingly being manipulated? Has Kira been hiding more than just her past? As fear and suspicion boil over, bonds snap and betrayals surface. In the end, only one walks away—scarred by truth, shaped by loss, and changed by what the darkness revealed.
"Shadows of the Past" is a grounded Star Wars fan film exploring the thin line between salvation and corruption, and how even the best intentions can be twisted when the Dark Side whispers.
