When an annual competition experiences unforeseen storms, one swimmer must muster up the strength to survive, as it transforms from a competition of skill to life threatening situation.
SYNOPSIS:
Miles the last of 3 brothers in a surfing family dreams of winning the Annual Hawaiian legendary free swimming competition, Posiedons Path, the competition is won by all the male members of his family. Though Miles wishes to compete, he has a deformed left leg, which has kept him in braces since he was a young boy, now at the age of 18 he still is treated differently and his family refuses to enter him into the open water swimming challenge competition, so Miles enters under a fake name and joins the competition. It starts off well but when a weather service tower receives a warning message that is misplaced and incorrectly advises the general public, the competition sends swimmers out into open waters that quickly turn a competition into a survival match between nature. How will Miles navigate out at sea, in open waters and heavy storms.
