Death collects souls to bring to the afterlife, but wonders why a lot ask and beg for more time, so he decides to see in the real world if humanity do spend their time correctly, over the years he has taken many forms, but now he encounters all those whom he has had a encountered or the later descendants of those he has had a encountered with. He sees the lives spent and sees whether it is lived and to prolong to collect if a life is not lived to its fullest potential.

By becoming a doctor at a inner city hospital he immerses himself with staff and patients but quickly gets attached, he takes on a relatable role to learn and to understand, however, but what becomes of death, when he starts to feel humanity and emotions. Is death still the ugly hard truth we all must come to understand or does he become resentful to his eternal entity role.
